Hardships Teach Us Lessons.

We may not be exactly where we want to be right now, but we are getting there. In 2019, we lived in a travel trailer (throughout the winter too). In 2020 we lived in my parents basement. In 2021, we purchased a home together. We both left home at a young age and NEVER envisioned this for ourselves, but life happens.
Finding the confidence to pick up the broken pieces and focus on growth and our futures individually, as a couple AND as a family was the best decision we could have made. Through the hard times, we found ways to make it work and we struggled our way to where we are now, but I am beyond grateful for all of it.
The amount we learned about doing what is best for ourselves, our relationship and the kiddos has always been important. We learned not to take the finer things in life for granted and that itself truly changed who we both are.
Everyone handles situations differently. No we weren't always positive about owning a home again. No we weren't confident about what our future would bring, but we made it and we are so proud.
I can't imagine my life any differently. It has been an incredible Rollercoaster ride. I have grown into a strong woman with a strong relationship and a bright future. Who would have thought?!
What hardships have taught you the biggest lesson(s) in life?
What are you struggling with seeing in a more positive light?
